Dear customers and friends,
It’s sabbatical time.
For over 20 years now, we’ve been creating exciting custom projects together. Dome covers, custom travel bags, home and boat upholstery, shade sails, interior light reflectors, rain canopies and so many other inspired creations have gone from your imagination to fully realized objects, and I have enjoyed working with you on each and every one. As passionate as I am about what I do, it’s time now for me to take a break from this beautiful work, and spend some refreshing time with my two boys. Believe me, they are growing up way too fast! I will be taking a one year break from Wyckam beginning September 1, 2021.
Of course, I am not the only person at this shop, so Wyckam will continue to operate over the next year, just in a more limited capacity. Kerry will still be here selling North Sails and servicing your running rigging needs. Additionally, Mark will be here doing sail repair and limited custom boat canvas (primarily sail/boom covers and sail bags). We will also continue all of our current production work for existing customers. Effective immediately, we will not be accepting any new projects in the following categories: shade sails, awnings, rain canopies, patio enclosures, custom canvas (other than sail covers and sail bags), design or CAD work, production cutting or production sewing. Of course, we will be completing all projects that we currently have open orders for. If you have an existing quote, and would like to place the order, please contact us to see if we will be able to accommodate the order this year.
